DIRECTIONS

If your pup is anything like ours and loves strawberries and carrots, they will not be disappointed!

First, we start by measuring out the strawberries and placing them in the food processor. If you are using fresh strawberries, cut them up into smaller pieces before putting them into the food processor. Shred the carrots, measure the rest of the ingredients out, and place everything into the food processor.

Blend all the ingredients until you have a homogenous mixture. You will end up with a relatively thick batter.

Preheat your oven to 350°F and load your baking moulds onto the baking pans. Remember to do this before loading your moulds with the batter to make life a wee bit easier! We used silicone baking moulds and didn’t have to grease them before baking the mixture. Load your baking moulds with the batter and place it in the oven. Let the mixture cook for about 13-16 minutes, depending on your oven. We recommend setting it for 13 minutes, check on your treats, and increase the bake time if need.

Once the Strawberry Carrot Pup Cakes have cooked, take them out of the oven and give them a couple of minutes to cool. Pop them out of the moulds and place on a cooling rack and let them completely cool. Try not to wait too long before putting them on a cooling rack as they will get soggy.

After Strawberry Carrot Pup Cakes are cooled, have your pupper test them out. They will not disappoint!

Store the pup cakes in an airtight container and put them in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
