Sarah: Bringing Joy to Dog Walking in SW Edmonton

Sarah is a recent university graduate making the most of her well-deserved break before diving into the world of full-time work. When she’s not cozying up with a Netflix show and a tub of ice cream, you’ll find her exploring new hobbies and adventures. A lifelong animal lover, Sarah recalls one of her fondest memories: the day her family brought home their dog, Happy. Initially thought to be a purebred Border Collie, Happy turned out to be an adorable mix of who-knows-what, and her personality is as lively as her breed blend. Sarah remembers when Happy was so tiny she fit in her winter coat pocket, shivering with excitement. Now, Happy is a joyful 25kg bundle, constantly accompanying Sarah on her dog jogs.

Sarah’s favorite accessory for work? Her running shoes, specifically her new Saucony pair, which she scored on sale and loves wearing on her jogs with Happy. She’s also a bit of a film buff, with her all-time favorite animal movie being “마음이,” a Korean film about a touching friendship between a pup named “마음이” and a young boy. It’s a movie that resonates deeply with her.

If Sarah could run in any city in the world, she’d choose Paris. Inspired by an Instagram influencer who ran the Paris Marathon, she dreams of joining the iconic race herself one day. When she’s not busy running or working, Sarah loves hanging out at Liberta Coffee Shop, a new spot in town with amazing coffee and desserts. She’s particularly fond of anything matcha-flavored.

On a hot day, you can find Sarah cooling down with her all-time favorite treat: the Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard from Dairy Queen, which has been her go-to since high school. For a cozy meal, she swears by Dookbaeki, a restaurant that serves her favorite dishes—soft tofu stew and tonkatsu.

Her love for nature reflects in her color choices, too, as green and brown top her list of favorite colors, reminding her of the great outdoors. Sarah is a morning person at heart, always eager to finish her tasks early so she can relax and dive into her own interests in the evening.
