Peanut Butter and Banana Drool-sicles

Treat Yo' Dog Recipes

Summertime in Edmonton calls for tasty frozen treats for your dogs! We, humans, like to have a popsicle or ice cream to help beat the heat, so why not give one to your fur baby too?! We don’t mean share human popsicles with your pup, but the fact that they have a fur coat year-round, (even though they’re coats help regulate temperature), they’d sure enjoy the cooling effects of a frozen goody!

Making your pooch a refreshing frozen snack doesn’t have to take a lot of effort. Often a quick search in your pantry, kitchen, or freezer can give you all the ingredients you need. Here is another healthy and simple summertime treat to help cool off and reward our furry friends after a dog walk in Edmonton.

Ingredients:

  • Banana
  • Peanut Butter

You can also change this recipe up to include your dog’s favourite treats/foods. But be sure to check that all ingredients are in-fact safe for your pets to eat. We would recommend asking your veterinarian if you are unsure of what is safe for your pet to ingest. The Animal Poison Control Control Center is a great online resource where you can search general things in their database, but please know fees do apply for a phone call.
