Training Services 

Our Private 1-to-1 Training provides customized training sessions, addressing issues both at home and during walks. We work directly with you, ensuring you can continue training between sessions and see consistent progress.

Life feels hectic enough? We also offer a Training Done For You service. We’ll train your dog during your workday, accelerating progress. You’ll still receive one-on-one instruction to learn what your dog is working on and how to reinforce their training. This service includes convenient pick-up and drop-off, similar to our walking services.

All our training packages come with valuable extras to support your journey. These include:

• Free optional 15-minute virtual or phone consultation before you commit
• Ongoing support via email or our bespoke software between sessions
• Digital goal tracking
• Access to additional packages or single sessions as needed

Little Learners (6-week training package)

Set your puppy up for success. This package provides foundational training for puppies under 6 months, from basic manners to crucial socialization experiences. We’ll guide you and your puppy through their formative months, helping them become a confident and well-adjusted companion. Get that loose leash walking, recall, housetraining, and successful home alone nailed!

Private 1-to-1 training Sessions with you: 1-hour program development session 5 x 30-minute weekly follow-up sessions Cost: $475+ GST

Training done for you Sessions with you:  1-hour program development session 5 x 30-minute weekly follow-up sessions Sessions for you: 12 x 30-minute training walks (2 per week) 12 x 30-minute socialization potty breaks (2 per week) Cost: $1650 + GST

Teenage Tamer (6-week training package)

Is your dog’s “teenage” phase causing havoc? If your dog is struggling with common issues like pulling on the leash, overexcited greetings, and nervousness, this is the package for you. Designed for dogs 6-18 months, we’ll focus on crucial skills like impulse control and reinforcing basic manners. Let’s work together to smooth out those rough edges and guide your young dog towards becoming a well-mannered adult.

Adult Training (4-week training package)

Whether you’ve recently adopted an adult dog or are looking to refine your long-time companion’s behaviour, Dog Jogs is here to help. From polishing basic manners to addressing issues like nervousness, handling difficulties, and separation anxiety, we can customize an effective training plan for you and your dog. It’s never too late to teach an old dog new tricks.

Reactivity Training (4-week training package)

Is your dog barking and lunging on your (previously enjoyable) walks? We’re reactivity specialists, and this package offers a path to calmer behaviour. Through carefully managed exposure to triggers and the use of counterconditioning and desensitization, we help your dog form new, positive associations with previously challenging situations. This package is ideal for owners seeking to transform their reactive dog into a more relaxed and sociable companion, making outings enjoyable once again.
