Dog Walking in Central Edmonton
We love providing dog walking services to Central Edmonton pet parents!
About the Town
Living in Central Edmonton means you’re never far from your next adventure with your dog. Whether you’re exploring Edmonton’s River Valley, wandering through Glenora, Westmount, Belgravia, or Ritchie, or meeting friends right downtown, this part of the city makes it easy to get outside together.
One of our favourite spots is the Louise McKinney Riverfront. Cross the Tawatinâ Bridge either way and you’ll connect to kilometres of River Valley trails, making it easy to spend an afternoon exploring. When you’ve worked up an appetite, Central Edmonton is also home to many of the city’s dog-friendly patios, making it a great place to grab a bite or a drink with your pup by your side. And if you’re heading downtown for dinner, a concert, or an Oilers game at Rogers Place, booking an afternoon dog walk means you don’t have to rush home first. We can’t promise an Oilers win, but we can promise your dog will have a great day.
When it comes to caring for your dog, we believe every walk should be as individual as they are. Since 2016, Dog Jogs has provided private, one-on-one dog walking, dog jogging, force-free dog training, puppy visits, and cat sitting throughout Central Edmonton. We never combine dogs from different households into pack walks or take dogs to off-leash parks during our services. Every visit is tailored to your pet’s personality, pace, and comfort level, making our services an excellent fit for puppies, senior dogs, reactive dogs, shy dogs, and dogs who simply thrive with one-on-one attention.
Every visit includes travel to your home, a private on-leash walk or jog, positive reinforcement handling, health and behaviour observations, fresh water and a paw wipe when needed, plus photos and a detailed visit report so you always know how your pet’s visit went.
Whether you’re commuting downtown, spending long days at the office, or simply juggling a busy schedule, our team is here to help your pets stay active, happy, and well cared for through every season. Rain, shine, or snow, we’ve got them covered.

What clients in Central Edmonton are saying about our dog walking and pet sitting
My dogs Isla and Ginger love their walks with Dog jogs. We cannot say enough good things- they give them love, attention, exercise and most importantly, a break in the day that we cannot provide because we are all working away during the day. Since we started using Dog Jogs our pups are so much happier and less stressed. The walkers are so good to them- its been a total Godsend! They give updates with photos and make sure our dogs are happy and content before they leave them. Our pups sleep well after their walk. Thank you to everyone at Dog Jogs!
The women who own and operate Dog Jogs are competent and professional in every way. They and their staff provide one of the best and most consistent services that I have ever encountered in any customer interaction. They accommodate their clients’ schedules cheerfully. They love and respect dogs and clearly show it. The dogs are totally responsive to this care. Positive reinforcement is the only method used with these beloved animal friends. My and my dog’s experiences have been exemplary, he is fit and happy and Dog Jogs has helped us weather several situations, including the uncertainties of COVID. I highly recommend them.
I’m adding to this post 4 years later, still ‘Over the Moon’ with the quality of DJ’s services over time. Steph and Nik continue to manage their company with the utmost of integrity, skill and caring. My big, active, energetic dog is now 6 and going strong. DJs has helped him, me and other walkers with training to deal with his diminishing leash reactivity. They have steadfastly and flexibly provided the necessary exercise for him, always only with positive reinforcement, they have aided in his well-being and great health and brought me a lot of peace. I am so grateful for Dog Jogs.
